Access (Adapted from Evergreen Mountain Biking Association).
– I-90 E to Exit 149 (George exit) 
– North on SR 281 towards Quincy/Wenatchee at end of offramp (left if coming from Seattle) (11 miles) 
– Left at Rd 5 NW. Continue past a golf course and eventually turn 90 degrees right (road turns into Whitetail Rd) to head north. (13.5 miles) 
– Left at Rd 9 NW. This will go down a big bluff to the Babcock Bench and hang another left (south) to the trailhead (6 miles) 

Trip Instructions. Follow map. There are a several different routes that are available at Ancient Lakes so pay attention to what direction you are headed in.


Leave It Better Than You Found It. This should be every outdoor user’s goal. Pick up the trash others have left behind, pull noxious weeds along your route, disperse fire rings found at campsites (they encourage more fires), throw logs and branches over spur trails and spurs between switchbacks (make it harder to do the wrong thing than the right thing).
