Pete has a long history and passion for water and environmental conservation. He spent over two years in Peace Corps Honduras where he helped build community water systems, taught water conservation, and worked with communities to ensure their watersheds were protected. Since returning from Honduras, he has volunteered and worked with several nonprofits including The Nature Conservancy where he spent two summers leading high school seniors on month-long internships working in conservation. Pete earned his B.A. in history and political science from Lewis-Clark State College and his M.P.A. from University of Washington with a focus on nonprofit management and environmental policy. His passions include mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, reading, playing basketball, and helping others.
