Avalanche Terrain Observation*

This is a follow up to the popular Companion Rescue Skills course.

  • Avalanche terrain recognition skills
  • Safe travel decisions
  • WAC avalanche hazard discussion
  • Avalanche rescue drill

​Workshops begin at 9am. Participants will meet outside the Mission Ridge Base Patrol First Aid Room. Please be prepared with all your ski and snowboard gear to ride the chairlift to the summit at 9am. For information about these workshops, CLICK HERE.

*This workshop requires Advanced Skiing/Riding skills and the completion of the Companion Rescue Course.
