A hands-on environmental workshop that introduces children to the outdoors and responsible recreation will be held May 30 at Wenatchee Public Library.
The free Leave No Trace event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. It will include interactive instruction and activities and information on how to become a Leave No Trace steward.
Since 1999, Subaru of America and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics have teamed up each summer to teach skills and techniques to reduce the impact of outdoor activities on the environment.
