Oktoberfest Trail Runs
The Oktoberfest Trail Runs (10-mile and 5-Mile, plus kids race) are held on Wenatchee National Forest lands near Leavenworth, with the start and finish occurring at the Leavenworth Ski Hill facility, located two miles north of the town of Leavenworth.
This event is held during the third and final weekend of Leavenworth’s famous Oktoberfest celebration. And the trail runs serve as a fundraiser for the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club, which operates the Ski Hill.

Description: The 10-mile route will take trail runners from the start at Leavenworth Ski Hill onto the 4 the Boyz Memorial Trail and then the Rosie Boa Trail to the Freund Canyon Trail. Runners will run down Freund Canyon to 4 the Boyz and then back to the Ski Hill. This is a challenging and hilly course.
The 5-mile run will be entirely on the existing ski hill trail system. This course is hilly and challenging, but is perfect for the beginning trail runner.
The kids run will be a 2K route.
Start times: 8:30 a.m. for the 10-Mile, 8:45 a.m. for the 5-Mile, and 9 a.m. for the 2K kids run.
