When: Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 11:00a.m.

Where: Lake Wenatchee State Park, North Park. Meet at the Reservation Booth.

Details: Join Park Staff for a magical jaunt through our frosty winter wonderland! This is a fantastic hike for first-timers in snowshoes, or hikers looking for a mellow adventure with scenic rewards.

The hike is easy-moderate with varying views, plenty of opportunities for snowball fights and memorable photos.

Hike duration is dependent upon hiker preference: the shortest options is a 1.4 mile route, the longest option is a 2.4+ mile loop. As a group, we will stop at a designated intersection in order to orient those choosing the longer route, while Park Staff will continue leading the shorter route. Each hike will take a halfway break at the North Beach for a group photo and chance to grab a snack and explore around.

Bring layered clothing, snowshoes, poles, boots, snacks, water and an adventurous spirit!

All hikes are subject to cancelation due to inclement weather, road access or trail concerns. Please call the park after 9:00am on the day of the hike for status updates.
