Look what we found…Larch season is upon us! 😍

Look what we found…Larch season is upon us! 😍 These Larches were turning at 6,600 feet. So it may be another week or two before the peaks around the Wenatchee Valley are in full swing but it is happening at the high elevations in our region. Get ready to get your Larch frolic on. We are doing our happy dance, happy Autumn WenOut friends! 🙌

Do you feel it in the air? The change of the seasons is upon us! It may be in the 80s and 90s temp wise but Mother Nature isn’t fooled. Autumn is just around the corner! The maple leaves are changing colors, dogwood plants are changing colors…autumn is on the VERY near horizon. We hope you enjoy the last days of summer and gear up for fall as it is just about here. 🍁🍂

The Wenatchee River is a fun place to recreate in

The Wenatchee River is a fun place to recreate in the hot weather. Make sure to wear your PFD (personal flotation device), bring water to drink, sunscreen and be prepared. Currently the water was running around 850 CFS which was a tiny bit low for SUPs when the fin won’t de-attach. But if you have a kayak, SUP that can remove the back fin or a tube you should be good to go. Have fun and stay safe out there friends! We saw Osprey, Eagles, deer, many fish all within a two hour float.

WenOut friends! It may be hot 🥵out there but going up in elevation can make all the activities 10-15 degrees cooler! Considering where to go on a hike or bike ride think Blewett Pass, Mission Ridge, Stevens Pass etc. to beat some of the heat. 😎Stay “cool” out there friends!
