DESCRIPTION:Date: Fri\, 09/22/2017\n\nTime: 3:15 PM and 5:15 PM\n\n\nLocation: Saddle Rock Trailhead\n\n\nJoin the Chelan Douglas Land Trust at Saddle Rock Trailhead for weekly kid-focused hikes. Explore our trails with fun\, hands-on activities to get up close and personal with nature. Learn how to help your child love healthy\, active\, and safe play in the outdoors. \nThese hikes are about 1.5 hours long and are offered twice a day. They will be on easy to moderate terrain. We’ll take lots of breaks to explore and learn. \nLearn more about the creepy crawlies that live in our foothills. Build your own bug and then go on a bug hunt to see what we can find! Learn about collecting insects for your own insect collection. \nThis event is made possible because of a partnership with the City of Wenatchee Department of Parks\, Recreation\, and Cultural Services.
