DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, December 16\, 2017 – 4:00pm\n\n\n\nLocation: Leavenworth Fish Hatchery\n\n\n\n\nJoin in on the fun at the 2017 Leavenworth Christmas Bird Count on Saturday\, December 16th. \nThis will be the 17th official count for Leavenworth and the 118th year for the National Audubon Society. \nBirders will be assigned a route and meet their leader at a designated area. SUMMARY:Firefighter & Emergency Personnel Appreciation at Mission Ridge
DESCRIPTION:Firefighter & Emergency Personnel Appreciation \n\nSaturday\, December 16\, 2017 \n\nMission Ridge will be saying thank you to those who serve our community and put their safety in jeopardy to protect ours. In recognition or their service\, Mission Ridge will be honoring Firefighters\, EMTs\, and Law Enforcement professionals by providing free skiing and riding from opening day through the third weekend in December. We welcome both active duty emergency responders and 2017 summer seasonal personnel to enjoy time on the mountain. \nOn the December 16th we will publically thank our local and regional Emergency Responders with a day dedicated to honoring their service. \nAll Firefighters\, EMTs\, and Law Enforcement professionals need only bring some type of proof of employment like an ID card\, letterhead\, or pay stub to receive their complimentary lift ticket. \nPlease make sure we have enough snow prior to the event by checking the Mission Ridge website.
