DESCRIPTION:The Yeti Ride is hosted by the Wenatchee Valley Velo Club and held on New Year’s Day each year in the Wenatchee area. The route will be determined the day before and will based on weather conditions at the time. The ride is led by club members. \nIf it’s chilly out\, don your ski coats and gloves!  And if you don’t\, there will be plenty of Yeti juice to pass around to keep you warm! SUMMARY:Winter Wonderland Jaunt At Lake Wenatchee State Park!
DESCRIPTION:When: Tuesday\, January 1\, 2019 at 11:00a.m. \nWhere: Lake Wenatchee State Park\, North Park. Meet at the Reservation Booth. \nDetails: Join Park Staff for a magical jaunt through our frosty winter wonderland! This is a fantastic hike for first-timers in snowshoes\, or hikers looking for a mellow adventure with scenic rewards. \nThe hike is easy-moderate with varying views\, plenty of opportunities for snowball fights and memorable photos. \nHike duration is dependent upon hiker preference: the shortest options is a 1.4 mile route\, the longest option is a 2.4+ mile loop. As a group\, we will stop at a designated intersection in order to orient those choosing the longer route\, while Park Staff will continue leading the shorter route. Each hike will take a halfway break at the North Beach for a group photo and chance to grab a snack and explore around. \nBring layered clothing\, snowshoes\, poles\, boots\, snacks\, water and an adventurous spirit! \nAll hikes are subject to cancelation due to inclement weather\, road access or trail concerns.
