DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, March 24\, 2019\n4:00 pm 6:30 pm\n\n\nRed Barn\n\nWenatchee River Institute Presents-False Promises: The Lost Land of the Wenatchi \nDoors open 4pm for no-host bar and social half hour\, meet with the Wenatchi tribal members! Admission is free\, $5 donation suggested at door! \nFirst come\, first seated for this event! Carrying capacity for our Red Barn is 90 people. \nPlease join us for a showing of “False Promises: the Lost Land of the Wenatchi” Tribal members will be present for questions & answers following the movie\, as well as Richard Hart\, a tribal historian who put in a lot of the work to make this movie. \nAfter 150 years of failed attempts to regain the treaty rights promised to them by the United States Government\, the Wenatchi people of the Colville Indian Reservation\, are now taking their case to the public for support.
