DESCRIPTION:Come join the iconic Red Devil Challenge Trail Runs — distances of 50K\, 25K and 10K — on June 1 in the Wenatchee National Forest south of Cashmere. The three runs are held on well-maintained trails\, with excellent course support from a cadre of volunteers and course marshals. \nProceeds benefit Chelan County Mountain Rescue. \nEach Red Devil participant will receive an eco-friendly finishers shirt; discounts at a post-race party at Milepost 111 Brewing Co. in Cashmere; and other goodies. \nA free shuttle service is available before and after the race between Milepost 111 in Cashmere and the Sandcreek Trailhead in the Wenatchee National Forest. \nFor more information click here.

SUMMARY:Apple Century Bike Ride!
DESCRIPTION:The Apple Century Bike Ride is fully supported recreational ride with water/food stations and sag wagons. We will start in Wenatchee at Pybus Public Market\, then follow along the scenic Wenatchee River as it winds through Monitor\, Cashmere\, Dryden and Peshastin until you reach Leavenworth. The 100-milers will continue on\, to the Lake Wenatchee Fire Staton where they will turn around for the trip back to Pybus Public Market.  Scenery includes high sage desert\, lush orchards and vineyards\, cool and clear river valleys\, and tall ponderosa pine forests. \nOn-site registration and pre-registration ride packet pick-up will be available on Friday afternoon\, May 31st at Cycle Central in Downtown Wenatchee\, and Saturday\, June 1st prior to the start at Pybus Public Market. \nPre-registered riders will recieve a commemorative pint glass from Wenatchee Valley Brewing Company featuring our ACBR logo\, as well as have the opportunity to purchase a custom ride jersey.  Online jersey sales have closed\, however\, you can still purchase jerseys on the day of the ride.  Cost will be $75.  Sizing will be unisex\, and while we will have a limited quantity on hand for purchase and immediate pickup\, any orders beyond that inventory will be shipped to the purchaser. \nProceeds from our ride help support our Challenge Scholarship Program\, focusing on at-risk high school students. We challenge these students to finish and graduate high school with the incentive of a two-year scholarship to the college or trade school of their choosing. SUMMARY:Grand Coulee Geology Tour
DESCRIPTION:Grand Coulee Geology Tour \n\nJune 1 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm \n$40 – $45\n\n\nBrent Cunderla will take you on a tour of the Grand Coulee Ice Age Floods tour loop which begins in Soap Lake and continues north to Lake Lenore Caves\, Dry Falls Interpretive Center\, Sims Corner\, Electric City\, Banks Lake\, Northrup Canyon\, Coulee City\, Summer Falls\, and Ephrata. \nTour goers will meet at the Wenatchee Valley Museum to board a tour bus that will depart at 8 a.m. An overview of the catastrophic Ice Age Floods and Soap Lake’s unique waters will be given. Two stops in the lower Grand Coulee will include Lenore Caves and Dry Falls. A brief stop will be made to overview Dry Falls and the mouth of the upper Grand Coulee before driving up onto the Waterville Plateau. Crown Point will be the last stop before lunch. The afternoon tour will stop near Northrup Canyon and travel south through Coulee City to Summer Falls. The last stop will be at “Monster Rock”. \nFor more information click here.
