SUMMARY:Mission: GranDuro
DESCRIPTION:10 miles\, 20 miles and 33 miles. \nMountain bike and cross country bike race. \nRegistration is limited to 200 riders total. Registration includes custom race swag\, fully stocked aid stations (variety of Hammer Nutrition product\, Fruit\, PBnJ\, Cookies\, Crackers\, etc.)\, post race grub\, awards\, a great\, well marked race course and drawing from our great sponsors and much more! \nOur 3rd stop this year will be on a new (to us) venue outside Wenatchee. We’re teaming up with the folks in Wenatchee to bring you an Epic Granduro! \nChip Timing\nThis year\, we’ll be using chip timing! If you already have a chip\, use it (just let us know the number). If you don’t have one\, we’ll provide you with one for a $5 deposit. You can either turn it in after the race and get your money back or keep it for future races. \nFor more information click here.

SUMMARY:Kids Mountain Bike Race: Shred the Gnar
DESCRIPTION:Join Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and NW Epic Series Saturday\, June 29 and shred the gnar.  Kids\, ages 3-12 years old\, are encouraged to join the kid friendly race.  Day of registration only\, beginning at 9:30am.  Races will follow at 10:30.  There will be 3 race options for kids to choose from:  balance bike course\, short course (about 1 mile) and long course (around 2 miles).  The cost is $10 per person.  All race proceeds from the kid event will be donated to Evergreen Education to help promote youth mountain biking in the Wenatchee Valley.  This race is geared toward kids 3-12 years old.  Come join the fun! \nThis kids race is in conjunction with the Mission Granduro\, an Epic Race Series event.  Check out their website\, nwepicseries.com\, for more information regarding the Mission Granduro.  For questions regarding the kids race\, please email education@cwevergreenmtb.org

DESCRIPTION:Community Celebration June 29\, Wenatchee River Institute and Cascade Garden Club \nLeavenworth –Wenatchee River Institute (WRI) and the Cascade Garden Club will be hosting a Community Celebration and Open House at WRI’s Barn Beach Reserve property\, 347 Division St. in Leavenworth\, Sat.\, June 29 from 4 – 5:30pm. Food – Fun – Free! \nWhat do you get when you cross passionate gardeners\, skilled environmental educators\, enthusiastic volunteers and minds eager to learn\, all in a beautiful outdoor setting that abounds with nature? Find out firsthand on the 29th! Stroll WRI’s beautiful Barn Beach Reserve property and view the colorful gardens with Cascade Garden Club members available to answer your plant and gardening questions. Saunter along the campus trails to take in the river and mountain views while participating in a fun and informative scavenger hunt. \nFind out more about who we are\, what we do\, and what’s around the bend. Learn about the rich history of Wenatchee River Institute’s Barn Beach Reserve property\, the E. Lorene Young Haus and River Haus\, and the Red Barn’s green\, LEED certification. \nAll ages are welcome\, so bring the kids. Activities for the young (and young at heart) will include ladder ball\, chalk drawing\, hula-hoops\, discovery\, and more!
