It is a great opportunity to look at the birds around you\, brush up on your bird identification skills\, and maybe learn to identify new ones. Thank you. \nWhere: Pybus Public Market \nJoin Girls on the Run as we celebrate the unstoppable power of a girl who knows her limitless potential and the incredible superheroes in our lives.\nWe believe that creating strong communities starts with empowering young people. For the past 10 weeks\, the GOTR Girls have been working on becoming more confident\, self-aware\, engaged\, and physically active members of our community. Now\, they are ready to complete 5K! \nBIB PICKUP\nFamilies of Girls on the Run participants: Friday\, May 15th 4:00-6:00 PM at Pybus Market\nCommunity members: Saturday\, May 16th starting at 8:30 AM! \nStarting at 8:45\, we will have crafts\, cap and mask making\, happy hair color stations\, and a photo booth! At 9:30 we will begin Girls on the Run cheers and at 10:00 AM we will start the race. \nLocation: Pybus Public Market\, Wenatchee WA \nCOST:\nYouth under 5: Free\nYouth (6-14): $15\nAdults (15 and older): $30\nRunning Buddies: $15 or free if unable to afford \nAll proceeds go towards our nonprofit\, Girls on the Run of Columbia Valley. We work hard to make our program accessible to all and offering financial assistance to those who need it. \nInvite your family and friends to be part of a team! SUMMARY:Moses Coulee Geology Tour
DESCRIPTION:A note from the WenOut Staff: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic\, please contact the organization hosting the event or check their website or Facebook page to verify if the event is continuing to take place. Thank you. \nHosted by Wenatchee Valley Museum \nKen Lacy will lead a tour of the Moses Coulee and the Waterville Plateau. This tour will discuss the science and Native American oral history of the rock formations created by the Ice Age Floods. \nTour goers will meet at the Wenatchee Valley Museum to board a tour bus that will depart at 9 a.m. An overview of the Ice Age Floods will be given before departure. The first stop will be at Chief Moses Council Cave. The tour will continue on to Three Devils\, then heads toward Waterville with a stop at Haystack Rocks. The tour stops at Chief Joseph Rest Stop for lunch then proceed south on Hwy 97 and returns back to Wenatchee. \nTickets are $50 for Museum members and $55 for non-members.
