DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Wenatchee River Institute \nLocated: E Lorene Young Community Garden \nIn this workshop\, Betsy will share step-by-step methods for successful composting with a traditional compost bin\, a barrel composter\, and a worm bin. You’ll learn the pros and cons of each method\, so you can decide which one best suits your needs. The goal of the workshop is to give you the confidence to compost at home\, even if you’ve tried and given up. Participants are encouraged to bring a container of kitchen scraps for a hands-on demonstration. The instructor will also bring her worm bin\, so you can see red wigglers in action. \nCost: Pay What You Can\nLimit of 15 participants \nInstructor Bio:\nBetsy Dudash is a Purdue-trained landscape horticulturist and designer in Wenatchee.
