DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately the 2022 Echo Ridge Loppet is cancelled due to Covid. The Echo Ridge Loppet is an opportunity to bring together a group of skiers and celebrate Nordic skiing. The Lake Chelan Nordic Club decided to cancel the Loppet due to rapidly increasing Covid infections both locally and statewide and our inability to screen participants and enforce Covid safety measures. \nMark your calendar for the 2022 Echo Ridge Loppet! DESCRIPTION:Lake Wenatchee State Park- Leavenworth\, WA\nEvery Saturday in January and February\, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. \nJoin us at Lake Wenatchee State Park north entrance every Saturday in January & February at 1pm as park staff guide you on a 1.3 mile snowshoe hike through scenery along the Wenatchee River\, the shore of Lake Wenatchee\, and surrounding forest. Participants can enjoy a well-packed route through parts of our park that are not always accessible in summer. Expect some historical talking points\, nature interpretation\, and views of Nason Ridge\, Dirty Face\, and South Beach. No snowshoes? No problem! Call the park ahead of time to rent a pair.
