SUMMARY:Botany Hike at Horse Lake
DESCRIPTION:Date: Wed\, 04/12/2023\n\n\nTime: 4:00pm – 6:30pm\n\n\nLocation\nHorse Lake Reserve Trailhead\n\n\n\n\nJoin Elisa and Tiffany\, CDLT’s Communication Inclusion Coordinator and Stewardship assistant\, for a mellow hike along the Old Ranch Road at Horse Lake Reserve. \nWe will aim to make it up to the western point of Glacier View trail\, where we hope to see snow douglasia in bloom. We may also see blooming balsamroot\, desert-parsleys\, serviceberry\, pussytoes\, brodiaea\, lupine\, springbeauty\, blue-eyed Mary\, yellow bells\, waterleaf\, prairie-star\, Oregon grape\, bluebells\, phlox\, currant\, and more. No botanical experience needed; we will bring a plant list in case anyone is interested. We can walk and talk about plants\, restoration\, weed control\, and/or whatever the people are interested in. This event is for all ages.
