SUMMARY:Reclaimed Rope Basketry Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This event is hosted by Waste Loop\nLocation: Sage Mountain Natural Foods in Leavenworth\n\nCalling all aspiring basket makers! Come learn how to make a basic coiled basket using old rope and reclaimed fabric.\n\n\nThis method can be adapted to make baskets large and small\, coasters\, hanging storage devices\, natural fiber baskets\, abstract creatures\, and whatever your imagination can conjure! No experience necessary. We will provide materials\, but if you have old rope (any diameter) or fabric (longer than a few feet) lying around that inspires you\, please bring. And if not\, but you know any rock climbers\, check with them\, because they may just have a tub somewhere full of retired ropes.
