DESCRIPTION:You’re invited! TREAD is convening three community input events where you can tell us all your biggest wishes and ideas for outdoor recreation opportunities in Douglas County. This will be a fun event where you get to draw on maps and use stickers to make your voice heard. If you have any thoughts on what you’d like to see improved\, enhanced\, or developed in regards to outdoor recreation in Douglas County please join one of the events.\nAll the ideas generated from these events will be compiled into a plan that will provide Douglas County and its stakeholders a reference to use to apply for future funding for project-specific outdoor recreation. It will also provide a roadmap for TREAD’s effort to increase sustainable trails and economic development through diverse partnerships and community leadership while advancing outdoor recreation for sustainability and accessibility for current and future users.\nEast Wenatchee & Rock Island: September 20th at the Eastmont Parks Community Center 5:30-7 PMBridgeport: September 26th at the Bridgeport Elementary School 5:30-7 PM\n\nAll events will have Spanish translators.\n\nFor more information click here.
