SUMMARY:The Art of Maps
DESCRIPTION:Class Tuition: $50 \nThis event is hosted by the North Cascades Institute and is an online class. \nDuring the second session on 11/15 at 6 pm\, we will be invited to share our maps and the stories behind them\, discussing the goals we set out with and the creative choices we employed. \nBy the end of our course\, perhaps we will better understand what author Nicholas Crane meant when he wrote “Maps codify the miracle of existence.” \nMaps are powerful\, visual tools that tell stories of exploration. During this two-session online workshop\, artist Véronique Robigou invites you to take an interesting tour of beautiful and intriguing maps through time and then to create one of your own. \nTo register or for more information click here.
