SUMMARY:Lworth Spring Bird Fest!
DESCRIPTION:The Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest\, put on by the Wenatchee River Institute and North Central Washington Audubon Society\, occurs every 3rd weekend in May. The annual Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest promotes conservation through educational and recreational activities about birds\, wildlife\, and their environments. \nCome bird with us\, discovering the natural beauty and wonders of North Central Washington! Celebrate the return of migratory birds in the midst of peak wildflower season. Enjoy the excitement of birding field trips and workshops. Take part in speaker events\, music\, visual arts\, picnics\, and activities for all ages and abilities. All of this is happening in beautiful Leavenworth\, WA and throughout the Wenatchee River Valley. Bird Fest happens in association with World Migratory Bird Day. DESCRIPTION:Chelan-Douglas Land Trust (CDLT) is seeking your input on a new conceptual trail plan for an accessible trail located adjacent to the existing Saddle Rock Trailhead parking area. \nWe will be hosting an event to announce the conceptual trail plan and receive input on May 21st from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Mercantile (14 N Wenatchee Ave) in Wenatchee.\nRemote participation is an option via zoom. \nJoin Zoom Meeting \nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/89813947334 \nMeeting ID: 898 1394 7334 \nThis event will include a short presentation by Ryan Graig (CDLT Trails Project Manager) and Erin Keeley (Professional Accessibility Consultant) that will explain the history of this trail project\, current status\, and future steps.
