DESCRIPTION:Kahler Glen’s Golf Pro Taylor Solem\, Elisabeth Pollock\, and Jenni Bunkleman will teach us how to power to a golf club. \n\n\n\nMax 16 People \n\n\n\nWho are the Plain Valley Adventure Women? \n\n\n\nPlain Valley Adventure Women (PVAW) seek to bring women together to explore\, connect\, improve their outdoor skills and enjoy the diverse activities our community offers\, in a fun and supportive environment.  PVAW support the Plain Valley Nordic Team (PVNT) through volunteering and program fees that are used to support the PVNT Scholarship Fund.  PVAW and PVNT are Plain Valley Ski Trails programs\, a community supported 501 (c)(3) non-profit. \n\n\n\nPVAW 2024 Summer Program Registration ($200.00) \n\n\n\n* All net proceeds of PVAW support the PVNT youth ski education programs that train year-round. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:This event is hosted by the Wenatchee River Institute \n\nWednesday\, June 26\, 2024\n7:30 am-9:30 am\n\n\n\n\nWalla Walla Point Park\n1351 Walla Walla Ave\nWenatchee\, WA 98801\nUS\n\n\n\nGo birding with knowledgeable WRI staff around Walla Walla Point Park and the Horan Natural Area in Wenatchee! All birding skill levels are welcome. Need binoculars? We have loaner binoculars that you can borrow. \nThis is a great opportunity to learn about eBird\, the largest biodiversity-related community science project in the world\, and utilize it to record our observations of local wild birds. \nTotal walking distance is approximately 2 miles\, over a mostly flat and gravel path with some slight hills. Come prepared for the weather. This event will happen rain or shine! \nTrail difficulty level: beginner\nTrail is wide enough for ADA access\, but trails are mostly gravel and compact earth.\nBathrooms available near the parking lot at the start and end of the walk. \nMeet in the north parking lot of Walla Walla Point Park\, near the restrooms and playground at 7:30am. The plan is to finish by 9:30am.
