DESCRIPTION:Leavenworth Winter Sports Club invites you to come up for a couple of hours or stay all day.\nObjective: Prepare Ski Hill for Winter Operations and the ability to open Tubing\, Nordic and Alpine operations on a minimal amount of snow. \nA free lunch will be served to all volunteers! \n(did someone say Yodelin?? Bosket Bread!? and your Lodge favorites!) \n\nTASK LIST\nBase Area & Slopes\n\nBrush\, lop and weed-eat the island behind the Little Tow\nBrush and clean ½ culvert behind the Little Tow\nPile limbs and brush to be chipped\nWeed-Eat / Buzz a 10’ radius around all buildings\nWeed-Eat / Buzz a 10’ radius around the well-head across from Big Tow\nWeed-Eat / Buzz the Tubing Hill and berms\nRemove any objects that could damage mowing or grooming equipment\nPick-up trash\nMow\n\nLodge\n\nClean Lodge concession area\, restrooms\, common areas & storage areas\nWash windows\nClose\, seal and block all voids in foundation\, siding and doors\nKick the rodents out (yes\, even the squirrel)\n\nSki Jump\n\nMow and weed-eat the jump hill\nWeed-eat the ski jump tow path and judges stand\n\nNordic Trails\n\nRemove overhead branches\nRemove brush from around trail lights\nRemove debris from trails\nMow\n\nParking Lot\n\nMow and weed-eat around rocks and light poles\, including the outer perimeter\n\n\nThings you can bring\n\nyourself\na friend\nwork clothes\nwork gloves\npruners\nloppers\nweed eaters\nrakes\nhand saws\nchainsaws\nfuel\nhearing & eye protection\nPPE\nwater bottle\na great work attitude\n\n\nEvent Link \nPlease email events@skileavenworth.com if you have any questions. \n\n\nEvent Sponsors: Bosket Bread and YODELIN
