DESCRIPTION:The Washington Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and the Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board are partnering to host a casual “Bios on Tap” evening focused on Upper Columbia Steelhead and Spring Chinook at Watercore Cider on March 19 at 6:00 p.m. \nThe interactive event will feature Ryan Niemeyer of UCSRB will be providing an overview of the current status of these ESA-listed fish and key recovery efforts in the region\, followed by a Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife biologist who will share insights on regional angling regulations and opportunities along with additional ecological and biological context. \nAttendees are invited to enjoy cider\, conversation\, and an engaging discussion about the science\, management\, and future of these iconic fish in a relaxed community setting. \nRSVP and let us know you’re coming HERE!

DESCRIPTION:Livestream the event or watch it later on YouTube at this link. \nNo registration required\, but RSVP to receive email reminders and updates about this event! \nDoors to the Red Barn open at 6:30pm for a community social with beer and wine available for purchase. The presentation will start at 7:00pm. \nJack Mynatt\, Tracy Maynard\, and Mike Power are avid\, long-time hikers\, skiers\, and amateur photographers. Jack and Tracy are on the board of the Wenatchee Valley chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society (WNPS). They have been annoying their hiking companions for decades with lengthy stops to take pictures\, and now it’s your turn to slow down with them to look and listen. \nJack and Tracy will focus (so to speak) on iPhone photography; Mike uses a DSLR.
