Available on-site or online here. \nThe Central Washington Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is delighted to announce the return of the Evergreen Youth Bike Festival. This event offers a diverse array of activities suitable for children and families of all biking proficiencies—from toddlers on balance bikes to young enthusiasts mastering more challenging trails. The festival will feature organized rides specifically tailored for youth between the ages of 3 and 13\, alongside bike games that cater to various age groups. Additionally\, the event will provide open trails for biking or hiking\, allowing families the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area together. \nParticipants will also find an assortment of booths dedicated to outdoor activities in the region\, as well as attractions such as face painting among other engaging activities. Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic or opt for on-site dining options. The festival encourages families to make the most of the weekend by immersing themselves in mountain play. \nFor those wishing to extend their stay\, RV\, trailer\, and tent camping are available within the park adjacent to the event grounds. It should be noted that camping spots are limited and require prior registration of a child participant. While the campsite provides essential bathroom facilities equipped with water\, it lacks power\, water\, or sewer connections for individual sites. In the interest of safety and preservation\, open fires are strictly prohibited and all pets must be kept on a leash at all times. \nCompetitive Youth Rides\nSomething for every child! Competitive rides include: \n\nRidge Riders: 2.6 miles – Geared towards pre-teen and teens wanting to challenge their endurance\nAlpine Rippers: 1.35 Miles – Geared towards pre-teen riders who are comfortable on blue trails with adequate endurance.\nForest Riders: 0.5 miles – Geared towards young riders who are comfortable on trails.\nMeadow Cruisers: 0.33 miles – Geared toward first and second year young riders.\nPedal-less: Balance Bikes – Geared towards the tiny tike shredders.\n\nTickets\n\nTickets:\n\n$5 per child for Evergreen Members\n$10 per child for non-members (Join today!)\n$20 per child day-of (no member discounts day-of)\n\n\nTicket availability is limited\nDay-of on-site registration available\, ticket availability pending\nOnline registration ends August 9th\nCamping available – please email Ray at raybirks@evergreenmtb.org\n\nFor event questions\, please email Rob at centraleducation@evergreenmtb.org

The Horan Natural Area is a wonderful place to take a quiet stroll\, enjoy the river\, and see some cute critters and wildlife along the way. We will start at Walla Walla Point Park\, in the north parking lot by the softball fields\, walk north through the Horan Natural Area to the bridge over the Wenatchee river and turn back. A nice way to end the work day is to get moving and make some new friends!\n\nDue to construction on 19th street loop and the east side of the loop to resurface\, the Outing has been relocated to Walla Walla Park.\n\n
