In this unique class\, instructor Claire will show you how to use simple tools—fine and brush-tipped pens\, plus a pencil—to translate the lines and shapes of the North Cascades onto the page. \nInspired by her 100-day sketching projects\, Claire has developed an accessible style that fosters joy and embraces mistakes. “There is something so meditative and fun about sketching with ink\, and I am so excited to share my favorite ink sketching techniques with you!” \nOver the past ten years creating art outdoors\, Claire has learned to sketch and paint in ways that are fun and accessible to artists of all levels. In addition to exploring various marks and patterns of northwest mountains\, she will demonstrate composition and simplification techniques as she walks us through step-by-step sketches \nWe look forward to seeing you in class!
