DESCRIPTION:Join Adam Vognild for a loaded carry\, ruck\, or weighted hike—different names for the same fun and challenging activity! Learn how to use “loaded carries” to build strength and endurance for backcountry adventures\, whether you’re hiking\, backpacking\, skiing\, or alpine climbing. \nWhy hike with weight? It’s a powerful mix of strength and conditioning that directly translates to better performance in the mountains. Loaded carries can be done anywhere\, anytime\, by anyone fit enough to hike in the hills. \nDuring the session\, we’ll cover the dos and don’ts of starting out and how to incorporate loaded carries into your training program safely and effectively. \nAdam Vognild.\nWhat to bring: your backpack\, 2–3 gallons of water\, and hiking poles.
