DESCRIPTION:The Chelan Douglas Land Trust presents this Winter Solstice Walk at Castle Rock Trail. \nWinter Solstice is the shortest day of the year — and we’re celebrating a day early with a sunrise hike! Join us on this enchanting walk to welcome the sun and make the most of this day. \nDon’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with others and explore Castle Rock. We look forward to sharing this solstice experience with you! \nDetails: \n\nWe will walk a total of 2 miles with an elevation gain of 420 feet on compacted soil.\nYou are welcome to walk with the group or go at your own pace.\nWe will stop at the second viewpoint to do the intention-setting activity.\nWe will gather at the trailhead shelter for warm beverages and pastries at the end of the hike.\n\nRegistration is required. Space is limited; please register below. By registering\, you will receive updated information regarding the event\, as well as notifications in the event of any cancellations due to weather. \nAccessibility: The Land Trust is working to make all of our events as accessible as possible.
