DESCRIPTION:Wenatchee River Institute Presents \nRegistration for design teams is NOW OPEN (link below). \nThis is a free event in partnership with the Wenatchee River Institute\, Sustainable NCW\, and wonderful volunteers. If you wish to contribute to offset the costs of staff time and supplies used for this loved community event\, you can donate at the link below\, or on Venmo: https://venmo.com/u/WenatcheeRiverInstitutewa \nGet ready for Wenatchee River Institute’s 4th Annual Trashion Show in partnership with Sustainable NCW! This fashion show will showcase wearable art made from recycled and repurposed materials. Come check out the creative pieces built by your neighbors! There will be four design team categories this year: adult\, middle and high school youth\, elementary youth\, and family. Prizes are available for each category\, plus a People’s Choice Award where audience members will get to vote for their favorite outfit. \nThis event is held outside on the WRI River Haus Lawn. Bring snacks\, a picnic blanket\, or camp chair to make yourself comfortable. We will have some chairs available as well. Beer\, wine\, and non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale during this event. \nNo registration is required to attend this event as an audience member. DESCRIPTION:Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center Presents\nEnjoy timeless classics in this brand new film series! \nThe Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center invites you for a screening of the silent film The Last Laugh\, featuring a lecture from Wenatchee Valley College Professor Hart Johnson and live music on the Wurlitzer pipe organ by Thomas Kozina on Friday\, April 25\, 6-8 PM. \nOriginally produced in 1924\, this chamber-drama centers around a nameless hotel doorman\, who is fired after he’s deemed too “old and unfit” to promote the hotel’s image\, resulting in a rapid downward spiral. Chamber-dramas are short plays that focus on the psychology of lower- to middle-class characters\, avoiding the use of title cards in between scenes in order to have the visual storytelling speak for itself. \nLink for more information and to RSVP

One lucky flamingo hunter will be rewarded each day with a season pass for next year\, and there are tons of other prizes to pick up as well. \nDust off your best neon ski gear and help us send off the season in style. Soak up some sun while you search for the plastic flamingos with numbers on them hidden around the mountain. \nTurn in flamingo for fun prizes with the Grand Prize being a 2025/26 Season Pass! Other prizes include Mission Ridge gear\, hats\, shirts\, candy\, and more! \nScavenger Hunt Rules\n\nFlamingos must be turned in from 9:30 am to 2 pm each day.\nOnly 3 flamingos may be turned in per person per day.\nFlamingos on Mimi may only be turned in by those 12 and younger.\nBaby Flamingos (size of rubber duckies in Base Area\, Pika Peak\, and Mimi may only be turned in by those 8 and younger.\n\nBaby flamingos can be turned in at Midway or at the Ticket Office.\n\n\nEach Flamingo turned in wins a prize.\nOne (1) 2025/26 Premier Season Pass will be given away each day.\n\nSchedule\nSaturday: \n\nTurn in Your Flamingos at the Wenatchee Express garage by Midway.
