DESCRIPTION:January 1\, 2018 – $15 \n\nThe Yeti Ride is hosted by the Wenatchee Valley Velo Club and held on New Year’s Day each year in the Wenatchee area. The route will be determined the day before and will based on weather conditions at the time. The ride is led by club members. \nIf it’s chilly out\, don your ski coats and gloves!  And if you don’t\, there will be plenty of Yeti juice to pass around to keep you warm! SUMMARY:Hair of the Dog 5k Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:Milepost 111 and Cashmere Family Dentistry present Cashmere’s First Annual\nHAIR OF THE DOG 5k FUN RUN for January 1st 2018 \nThe all-ages friendly event will start and end at Cashmere’s Milepost 111 parking area\, 407 Aplets Way\nParticipants will begin to gather at 10:30am with the fun run (walk\, crawl\, roll…) starting at 11am. \n5k double loop/2.5 k single loop maps available at the event. The Milepost 111 conference room will be open with access to restrooms and warm beverages. Heat lamps will add warmth to the the brewpub’s covered patio. An aid/hydration station will be provided and the Cashmere Fire Department will be on hand for any needs. \nHumans and their friendly\, leashed dogs and other furry friends are encouraged to don retro ski attire – the more retro and crazier the better! No retro ski wear available to you? Wear something warm and wacky! Prizes for costumes and participation. \nCost is $12 per human participant including a non-perishable food item donation for the Cashmere Food Bank. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to OkanDogs adoption coordinators in Cashmere. OkanDogs will be onsite with loner dogs for the fun run or as a four-legged cheering squad. \nIncluded with the entry fee\, after the fun run participants may enjoy one Hair of the Dog beverage (craft beer or bloody Mary)\, as well as hot cocoa\, juice\, coffee\, or tea\, and light snacks.\nArrive with your tails a draggin’ and leave with your tails a waggin’\nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED AS OF 1/5/18.  \n\nSaturday\, January 6\, 2018\n 9:00 AM 2:00 PM \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Lake Chelan Nordic Club will be hosting a non-competitive\, timed\, Ski Loppet on January 6th\, 2018 at the Echo Ridge Nordic Area. Three loops will be available to choose from: 1) Novice 5K\, 2) Best Echo Skate 15K\, and 3) Best Echo Classic 10K or complete all three loops for the 30K Echoathon.\n \nLoppet Schedule:\n 9:00 am-Registration/bib pickup in front of the yurt at the upper parking lot.\n 10:00 am-Mass start\, non-competitive event\n 11:00 am-2:00 pm-Soup and snacks\n 12:00 pm-Kids Lollie-Pop Loppet\n 2:00 pm-Event ends\n Loppet tickets are $20 online (plus a $2.53 credit card processing fee). Kids ski free! $10 ski passes (for non-season pass holders) can be purchased at the trailhead the day of the event (cash or check only).\n Swag\, warm soup and refreshments will be available at the yurt.
