This film explores the eccentric nature of the contestants who enter each year for a chance at wildlife art stardom\, while also reflecting upon the history and challenges facing the continued existence of this successful conservation program. Duck stamps and duck stamp art will be on display and information handouts available.

You need flies!\nCome learn the basics of fly tying to make you a success as you fish our local rivers!\nFive Tuesdays beginning February 20th through March 20th \n6:30pm – 8:30pm\nEnjoy small group instruction provided by the Wenatchee Valley Fly Fishers and assisted by Trout Unlimited.  Learn about fly fishing equipment\, philosophy and the basic entomological connections between aquatic food sources and local fish (with minimal Latin). Each student will walk away with an understanding of beginning fly tying techniques\, including the use of tools and various fly tying materials enabling independent tying of diverse patterns. All materials and tools are provided and students will leave with 6-8 flies to get started on fishing adventures!\n*Flies will include main food groups for area fish including Stoneflies\, Chironomids\, Terrestrials\, Mayflies and Caddis. \nClass size is limited to 12.
