DESCRIPTION:Save the Date! And your old and broken gear. Waste Loop and @colchuckconsignment are partnering again for a Gear Repair Cafe on Thursday March 17th from 5-8pm.\n\n\n\nDo you have outdoor gear that needs fixing? What about skills or tools that could help fix things? Or do you want to learn some new DIY repair skills? Gear Repair Cafes are a chance to keep old and broken gear and garments out of the landfill by fixing or upcycling them. Materials and tools will be available but please bring any extras you have that could fix your gear or someone else’s! This free community event is all about helping each other out and building community while keeping our gear functioning and out of the landfill.\n\n\nEducational demos will be happening throughout the night on topics such as:\n\n\n-Patching and zippers 101\n-Changing a bike flat\n-Drysuit gasket repair\n-Proper seasonal storage for skis\n\n\n\nIf you’d like to volunteer as a fixer for this event please send us a dm or email at contact@wasteloop.org\nFor more information click here.
