DESCRIPTION:This event is hosted by Waste Loop\nMonday\, April 10\, 2023\n\n\n6:00 pm – 8:00 pm\n\nIcicle Brewing Company: 935 Front Street\, Leavenworth\, WA\nCome hang out\, reduce your textile waste\, and practice mending with us! \n\nDo you know that 34 billion pounds of textile ‘waste’ is generated in the US  alone\, every single year?  \nIn this series of DIY workshops\, we will be meeting monthly to learn different mending and repair techniques. Please bring any garments or other textiles you would like to mend to extend their life and keep them out of the landfill. Mending materials such as scrap fabric for patches and thread for stitching will be supplied by Waste Loop.

SUMMARY:Botany Hike at Horse Lake
DESCRIPTION:Date: Wed\, 04/12/2023\n\n\nTime: 4:00pm – 6:30pm\n\n\nLocation\nHorse Lake Reserve Trailhead\n\n\n\n\nJoin Elisa and Tiffany\, CDLT’s Communication Inclusion Coordinator and Stewardship assistant\, for a mellow hike along the Old Ranch Road at Horse Lake Reserve. \nWe will aim to make it up to the western point of Glacier View trail\, where we hope to see snow douglasia in bloom. We may also see blooming balsamroot\, desert-parsleys\, serviceberry\, pussytoes\, brodiaea\, lupine\, springbeauty\, blue-eyed Mary\, yellow bells\, waterleaf\, prairie-star\, Oregon grape\, bluebells\, phlox\, currant\, and more. No botanical experience needed; we will bring a plant list in case anyone is interested. We can walk and talk about plants\, restoration\, weed control\, and/or whatever the people are interested in. This event is for all ages. This is a great opportunity to support your local trails\, win prizes\, watch some good movies\, and hang out with local riders.\n\n\n\n\nCentral Washington Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is hosting this event at Pybus Friday\, April 14th from 5:30 pm – 9 pm. There will be three short mountain bike videos to build the stoke for the upcoming season! Also\, one free raffle ticket with entrance purchase for a chance to win a $1\,000 swag bag from OneUp Components.\n\n\n\nWe will also have beer from Wenatchee Valley Brewing and Cider from Union Hill. Drink tokens will be $7 each or 4 for $25. DESCRIPTION:This event is hosted by Chelan Douglas Land Trust in partnership with Central Washington Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance\n\nDate: Sat\, 04/15/2023\n\n\nTime: 9:00am-1:00pm\n\n\nLocation\nHorse Lake Reserve Trailhead\n\n\n\n\nJoin us at Horse Lake for our 5th Sage Fest – hosted by CDLT and Central Washington Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. Saturday April 15th. Our main task will be basic trail maintenance (clearing drainage dips) along mountain bike trails.  Volunteers can expect a light to moderate work party\, walking a total distance of 2 miles with 300 feet elevation gain. Most volunteers will be working with hand tools such as hoes and McLeods. Kids are welcome!
