DESCRIPTION:Location: Leavenworth Fish Hatchery \nJoin the Wenatchee River Institute for a two-hour nature walk with one of our knowledgeable naturalists. Our walks are seasonally-based and offered throughout the year! \nYou will explore the outdoors\, learn about the natural and cultural history specific to Leavenworth with many scenic views along the way! You will learn about many topics including local plants and animals\, geology\, and the p’squosa (Wenatchi) people. \nDifficulty level: a ‘walk in the park’ (beginner level)\nNot fully ADA accessible \nWRI will provide snowshoes for all participants and registration is required. Wellness Place offers compassionate and FREE resources to individuals\, their families and caregivers through their cancer journey\, from diagnosis to survivorship\, for those in Chelan\, Douglas\, Grant and Okanogan counties. \nTo register and for more information click here. \n\nSkate\, Classic or Snowshoe your way through Barb’s Loop at the IRT for a good cause.
