DESCRIPTION:Bike & Explore Camp with Evergreen & WRIJuly 15-19. 20249:00am-3:00pm dailyCampers ages 6-10 \n\n\n\nKids ages 6-10 are invited to join us for 5 full days of riding their bike and exploring nature in a safe and supportive environment! \n\n\n\nMorning Session: From 9am – Noon each day\, participants will be learning mountain bike skills such as body position and balance\, braking\, climbing and descending techniques\, gearing and shifting\, wheel lifts\, cornering\, and other trail skills to help build confidence on singletrack trails. Campers will even have a chance to join Evergreen trail builders one day to learn the basics of trail maintenance and help give back to the trails we all love! \n\n\n\nLunch & Shuttle: Noon to 1pm participants will eat lunch (not provided) and be transported\, along with their bike\, to the Wenatchee River Institute. \n\n\n\nAfternoon Session: From 1 – 3pm\, participants will spend their time learning with Wenatchee River Institute\, exploring the natural world of Barn Beach Reserve and beyond! Explore wooded trails\, the winding river bank\, and tall meadow grasses. DESCRIPTION:Join Wenatchee River Institute\, in partnership with Leavenworth Outdoor Center\, on a relaxing evening paddle down the Wenatchee River. This is a guided trip that will introduce you to the plants (flora) and animals (fauna) of our diverse river area (riparian zone). You will learn how to be a better observer of nature and be introduced to river safety and navigation. This is a great way to build your naturalist skills and confidence on the river. \n\n\n\nIncluded: Kayak or paddle board\, Life vest (PFD)\, transportation from WRI \n\n\n\nDifficulty level: Beginner to intermediate\, recommended you have basic swimming ability. \n\n\n\nCost: $60 non-member\, $50 member. DESCRIPTION:🌍Connecting with nature aids our physical\, mental\, and emotional health. Join CDLT and CVCH on a Hike for your Health\, on Saturday June 15th. This 8-month series of Saturday morning outings will take you to different areas in North Central Washington where you can connect to nature for FREE. A guided walk is offered for every event in the series. Arrive anytime between 7am-9am to walk the trails and receive a raffle ticket entry to win amazing health focused prizes. The guided walk for this date will begin at 7:15am and end at 9:00am. During the guided walk you will learn about the area’s plants\, wildlife\, and history. The event is open to all ages and will be led in both English and Spanish. You do not have to participate on the guided walk to receive a raffle ticket entry.  \n\n\n\n🌱July will take us North to the Chelan River Trail (Reach 1 Trail) in Chelan\, WA. This walk will be 2 miles and 200 feet of elevation gain on a wide gravel path. Registration is not necessary to participate\, but it is appreciated. SUMMARY:Pretty Little Feet- Mountain Melodies Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:Singing\, dancing and alpine air! This concert series at Lake Wenatchee State Park features performances by great musicians and dancers amid the majestic mountain lake views. \n\n\n\nPretty Little Feet are an acoustic duo from Bellingham\, WA\, with over twenty years of performing experience. Members Matt Novak and Allegra Ziffle play old-time song and tune\, a wide-ranging repertoire of selections from the traditional canon and artists from the bygone days of radio up to the present\, as well as their own originals. Their album The Mountain Runners is comprised of mostly original music and it is featured as soundtrack in the documentary film The Mountain Runners\, which chronicles the story of the 1911-13 Mount Baker Marathon\, America’s first mountain endurance race. \n\n\n\nAnnual or One Day Discover Pass is required for vehicle access. Discover Passes are available online and at park entrance. \n\n\n\nThis event is accessible to persons with disabilities.
