North Cascades Institute is offering this Snowy Cascades Watercolor Workshop online.

Get cozy with a cup of tea and your watercolor paints for a new winter themed workshop with local adventure artist Claire Giordano.

In this class, Claire will share with us her favorite techniques for painting winter landscapes in the Pacific Northwest. After exploring some of the magical (and unpredictable!) effects of watercolor, we will put our new skills into practice as we paint a winter scene with step-by-step guidance from Claire. The painting could also make a gift or card for the holidays.

Over the last ten years of creating outdoors Claire learned to work with watercolor in a way that is fun and accessible to artists of all levels, and she is excited to share her favorite painting medium with you!
