The De Roux Creek trail starts in open forest, soon passes a beautiful meadow, then follows De Roux Creek before climbing to reach an upper meadow. There is a lot to see on this trail–the plant list names over 200 species List. Highlights include elephants head, cliff penstemon, and Columbia lewisia. We will go midweek to avoid the crowds.
