Join Adam Vognild for a loaded carry, Ruck, or a walk with weight in your backpack. Lot’s names, but they are all the same game. Learn how to utilize “loaded carries” to prepare your body for fun in the backcountry, whether it’s hiking, backpacking, skiing, or alpine climbing.
Why hike with weight on your back? It’s a mix of both strength and conditioning, and it translates to benefits in the mountains. It can be done anywhere, anytime, by anyone fit enough to go hiking in the hills.
We will discuss the dos and don’ts when starting, as well as how to utilize it in your training program.
Everyone should come with their backpack, 2-3 gallons of water, and hiking poles. This is for anyone who can walk outside with a pack, and what’s to do it a little better 😉
