Author Suzanne Cable

Suzanne Cable retired from a 30-year career with the US Forest Service and National Park Service. Her agency work allowed her to contribute to the stewardship of wilderness, wild and scenic rivers, and other protected areas in nine national forests and four national parks. When Suzanne’s not busy with her continue advocacy and support for wilderness and wildlands stewardship, she continues to hike, climb, ski, paddle, and seek solitude in wild places from her base camp in Wenatchee, Washington.
