Red Barn Event: Water Rights
Join attorney Erin McCool as she presents on the introduction to water rights law in Washington. Erin will provide a history of how the water code developed, including how the court has interpreted the code over the years. The discussion will include some current issues that are seen in the private market as well as local issues that arise between competing interests for a limited resource.

Erin McCool is a Member at Ogden Murphy Wallace PLLC and her practice emphasizes on general litigation, employment & labor law, and land use & water law. Erin is licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington. She graduated from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Erin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Environmental Science.

Erin is an active member of the Wenatchee Valley community, serving as the Legislative/Diversity Director for the Apple Valley Human Resources Association, the Past President of the Wenatchee Sunrise Rotary Club, a former member of the City of Wenatchee’s Diversity Advisory Council, and current board member of the Chelan Douglas Volunteer Attorney Services.

Doors open at 6:30pm for community social and no-host refreshments, presentation begins at 7:00pm.
