American Red Cross- Wildfire Preparedness Community Event
April 18 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Free

The American Red Cross is hosting a Wildfire Preparedness Community Event in Wenatchee on Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and we’re looking for volunteers to help us share simple, actionable preparedness information with nearby households.
Wildfire season moves fast — and preparation saves lives.
Volunteers will:
- Share basic wildfire safety tips door‑to‑door
- Help residents sign up for local emergency alerts
- Provide evacuation and defensible space information
- Receive all needed training (about 2 hours)
This is a light‑lift, high‑impact way for outdoor‑minded community members to support their neighbors before wildfire season. It could be a great fit for Wenatchee Outdoors members, volunteers, outing leaders, or anyone who enjoys supporting safe outdoor living in the valley.
I’ve attached a flyer with full details. If it feels like a good fit, we’d be grateful if you could share it in your newsletter, on social, or with any groups who might be interested.
If anyone has questions or wants to sign up, they can email us at
