Take flight with Chris Williams and explore the world of birds of the North Cascades. Learn about one of the most biodiverse national parks and the birds that call it home. Who lives here? Who migrates through? Where are some of the best places to look for these feathered friends?
Chris is an Interpretive Ranger with the National Park Service and has worked at North Cascades National Park, Olympic National Park, and Saguaro National Park. He is also an alumni of the Institute’s Graduate M.Ed. program and has taught people of all ages in our programs at the Environmental Learning Center, including Mountain School!
Take a journey through the different habitats of the ecosystem, learn how birds have adapted to them and get tips on how you can grab your binoculars and get outside to make the most of birding in the North Cascades.
