October 5 @ 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Join us at Castle Rock to perform annual fall maintenance on the Castle Rock trail system, and any existing trail infrastructure (trail closure barriers, fences, rock steps). This work will be light to moderate and involve hiking up to 3 miles and using hand tools such as hoes and McLeods along the way.
Everyone’s safety is our top priority at these events. Please read CDLT’s COVID Safety Protocol and do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell. Remember to bring a face mask to wear when you’re around other people, work gloves, hand sanitizer, water, snacks, layers of clothing appropriate for the task & weather on site, close-toed shoes, and appropriate tools if you have them. The Land Trust will bring tools for volunteers to use.
Please RSVP here so we can get an accurate headcount and provide you with details for the work party as the date approaches.
*All work parties are weather and conditions dependent. Canceled work parties will be rescheduled if possible.
