Chelan County Emergency Planning-Wenatchee

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

The Chelan County Department of Natural Resources and the Cascadia Conservation District are hosting two public workshops to provide information about the latest updates to the County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan and the Community Wildfire Protection Plan.

Both events are on Thursday, October 3, 2024

Wenatchee: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM at Wenatchee City Hall

Leavenworth: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at Leavenworth City Hall

Both sessions will cover the same crucial topics related to preparation for and response to natural hazards such as wildfire, earthquakes, and floods.

Your participation is important in helping local agencies and governments in building a safer, more resilient Chelan County. Don’t miss this opportunity to have your voice heard and help protect our community.
