This event is hosted by the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center
Join Ken Lacy on a tour of the Moses Coulee and Waterville Plateau.
During this tour, we will learn about the lava flows seen in the coulee walls and landforms and the erosional features created by enormous glaciers and floods that occurred over 15,000 years ago. These landforms include gulch fills, more terraces, volcanic dikes, “haystack” rocks, and even Turtle Rock.
On Saturday, Oct. 21, from 8:30-9 AM, Lacy will provide a brief lecture in the Performance Hall of the museum before departure. Attendees will be picked up and dropped off at the museum from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Tickets are $90 for members and $125 for non-members. Registration is required and can be found here.
