Hosted by Wenatchee River Institute
This summer and fall construction crews were hard at work improving fish passage through a boulder field in the Icicle River. A series of new pools will help to create “steps” for fish to get past the area, enhancing access to more than 20 miles of spawning habitat. The focal species are Steelhead and Bull Trout. Join Aaron Penvose, of Trout Unlimited, for a talk to hear more about the project, the goals, and what comes next.
