National Public Lands Day-Lend a Hand to Help Support Your Public Lands!
Join in the trail work party with the BLM for National Public Lands Day!
Date: Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9am-1pm
Location: Hungate Trailhead (appx. 30 minutes/25 miles from Wenatchee)
Hwy 28 south from Wenatchee. Turn Left on Palisades Road (Moses Coulee). Travel appx. 9 miles down this road. Destination is on right side-trailhead parking area.
This will be trail and trailhead maintenance at the Hungate Trail-up Moses Coulee. The trail hasn’t been maintained in a while, so it needs some brushing, trail markers, and the trailhead could use some brushing & painting.
Gloves, tools and refreshments will be provided.
This is a family friendly event, though the trail has rocky spots, and people will need to dress appropriately (closed toe shoes, long pants). Meet at the Hungate Trailhead at 9am.
