Spend an evening among wildflowers at the mouth of the Icicle Canyon on the Land Trust’s Sam Hill property. Susan Ballinger of CDLT has led the field work to create a comprehensive plant species list for Sam Hill, and invites you to explore this unique place and learn more about the late-spring blooming wildflowers.
The trail is short but rugged – participants should wear sturdy shoes and be prepared for uneven ground and steep trails. Parking is limited, so we will carpool from the Leavenworth Fish Hatchery. This is a joint CDLT, Washington Native Plant Society, and Wenatchee River Institute event. Please sign up at https://www.cdlandtrust.org/outings-events/events. Participants will receive more information prior to the trip. Please contact Hillary at hillary@cdlandtrust.org or 509-667-9708 with any questions.
Trip Leader: Susan Ballinger
