Red Barn Event: Sowing Seeds, Growing Hope with Victor Yemba

Wednesday, June 7^th from 7-8pm in WRI’s Red Barn OR via Zoom

Join us for an evening with Victor Yemba from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Although lush with resources, the country’s people live in poverty. Yemba joined an organization called “Slow Food” to promote sustainable agriculture on a community level. Over 5 years, he helped create 50 schools and community gardens. Come learn about his story and how he continues to sow seeds and grow hope in his home country.
