The Art of Maps

Class Tuition: $50

This event is hosted by the North Cascades Institute and is an online class.

During the second session on 11/15 at 6 pm, we will be invited to share our maps and the stories behind them, discussing the goals we set out with and the creative choices we employed.

By the end of our course, perhaps we will better understand what author Nicholas Crane meant when he wrote “Maps codify the miracle of existence.”

Maps are powerful, visual tools that tell stories of exploration. During this two-session online workshop, artist Véronique Robigou invites you to take an interesting tour of beautiful and intriguing maps through time and then to create one of your own.
